What are the roadblocks to the effective application of digital storytelling to the classroom?  What strategies can we use to "bypass" these roadblocks?

1.  Time: selecting images for students, easy program, designing the assignment in such a way (maximum images, etc.), team-teaching and distribution of effort.

2.  Plagiarism/attributing

3.  Access to pictures:  pictures may come from Flickr but this may be blocked.  Build age-appropriate photo libraries for kids.

4.  Recording Voice:  Use a good quality noise cancelling headset to record voice.

5.  Trouble-shooting

6.  Uptodate software

7.  Teacher knowledge:  be comfortable with saying I dont know,

8.  Individual student skill level:

9.  Sychronizing the elements of the project

10. Project Management:  following the process, setting deadlines for the completion of various elements.
